Seamless 6″ Standard Gutter
Seamless 6″ standard gutters, unlike traditional gutter systems, use materials such as galvanized steel, aluminum, and copper. Unlike other gutter systems, these sport seams on the corners and downspout areas. Multiple pieces of steel make up seamless gutters, so when when a section of your gutters fail, the entire system will not be compromised.
In cases where you experience heavy rainfall and/or rainwater runoff is overflowing your gutter system, a seamless 6″ standard gutter system may be best. Aside from climate, roofline, surface area and pitch are also important factors in determining if you should have a standard or oversized gutter system installed. Seamless 6″ standard gutters and oversized seamless gutters can also be interchanged within the same gutter job.
Overview of Seamless 6″ Gutters
The difference between 5″ and 6″ gutters is not just the size – it’s the volume of water they are able to hold. 6″ seamless Gutters are made for larger roofs and larger surface areas to drain. Here are some ways that you can determine whether you will need standard 5” gutters or the 6” oversized gutters.

Oversized Seamless 6″ Gutter Qualifications:
- Gutter lengths over 40’ that cannot have 2 downspouts
- Lower gutters that have upper gutters draining into them
- Long runs over 60’
- Rooflines with tremendous amounts of water concentrating to a small portion of gutter.
- Inside valleys where the water is flowing at great speed, and typically overflows during heavy rains.
